These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of Sandy ("we", "us") for your use of Sandy, the website and service that schedules your finished videos and photos and posts them to your own TikTok account. By signing in, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. What Sandy does
Sandy lets you upload a finished video or set of photos, choose a time, review it on the Post to TikTok screen, and approve it. At the time you chose, Sandy posts it to the TikTok account you connected, or, if you choose, sends it to your TikTok inbox as a draft. Sandy does not make or edit content, and never adds watermarks, logos, links or text of its own.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or over and able to agree to these terms, and you may connect only TikTok accounts that are yours or that you are authorised to post to. Sandy is free, and open to anyone with a Google account and a TikTok account.
3. Your account
You sign in with Google. Keep your Google account secure: anyone who can sign in to it can use your Sandy account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
4. TikTok
Sandy is an independent service. It is not part of TikTok and is not endorsed by TikTok. Posting through Sandy is posting to TikTok, so TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines apply to everything you post, and by posting you agree to TikTok's Music Usage Confirmation and, for branded content, its Branded Content Policy. TikTok decides what it accepts and shows, may limit how many posts an account can make each day, and may change or stop its service; when it does, Sandy may be unable to post.
5. Your content
- You may post only content that you made yourself or have the right to post. Do not copy other people's content from TikTok or any other platform.
- Your content must be lawful and must follow TikTok's Community Guidelines. Do not post sexual content, hate, harassment, violence, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
- Label your content truthfully: use the content disclosure setting for branded or promotional content, and the AI-generated label for content made with AI.
- Your content stays yours. You give us permission to store it, check it, and send it to TikTok as you instructed, only so that Sandy can do its job, and only until it is deleted as our Privacy Policy describes.
6. You approve every post
Sandy sends a post only after you approve it on the Post to TikTok screen, with the settings you chose there. You can take an approval back, or withdraw a post, at any time before it is sent. Just before sending, Sandy checks your TikTok account's settings again; if they no longer fit your choices, the post waits for you to approve it again instead of being sent.
7. Fair use
Do not use Sandy to send spam, to post on behalf of people who have not agreed, to get around TikTok's limits, or to attack, overload or probe Sandy, TikTok or anyone else. There are limits on file sizes, storage and how often you can upload, to keep the service working for everyone.
8. Suspension and ending
You can stop using Sandy at any time, and delete your account in Settings. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other people at risk, and we will tell you why unless the law prevents it. When an account ends, its content and connections are deleted.
9. The service as it is
We work to keep Sandy running and your posts going out on time, but we provide it as it is and as available, and we cannot promise it will never be interrupted, late or wrong, especially when TikTok, Google or our hosting providers have problems. Always check important posts on TikTok.
10. Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, as Sandy is free, we are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits or lost opportunities, or for what TikTok does with your posts, and our total responsibility to you is limited to £100. If you use Sandy as a consumer, you keep all the rights the law gives you.
11. Changes
We may change these terms. We will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in Sandy before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using Sandy after that, the new terms apply.
12. The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts there may hear any dispute; if you live elsewhere, you may also have the right to bring a claim where you live.
